My name is Metta, the woman behind the camera. I have always had my eyes open to find the beautiful in the mundane, the magic in the dull, and the raw honesty in every situation. That's what I strive for in my photography; capturing all of life's beauty, real, honest and raw.

​

I grew up on Salt Spring Island, with a dancer as a Mom and an entrepreneur as a Dad, so I have been given the joy of support in creative opportunities, and the example of how  hard work and determination can really make one's dreams come true. I feel that with this career as a photographer I am making my own dreams come true.

Besides photography, my days are filled with three little voices that are my children, acting, and social media work.

​

Although my interest in photography covers a wide range of genres, touching on everything from theatre, newborn, business, family, and days of love, I believe that there is beauty in everything, so capturing that beauty and people's important moments, connects the wide range all together.
